Would you like to check whether your 123ignition produces a spark? You can test the ignition outside the car with a simple test. You will need a battery, ignition coil, spark plug lead, spark plug and a few connecting wires.

Connect the ignition as shown in the wiring diagram below. Perform the test on the workbench, without the ignition installed in the car.

Connect the wiring according to the diagram, connect the spark plug and turn the distributor shaft by hand. Check whether the spark plug produces a spark.
