The 123/Renault16-TX-TS-4-R is a distributor, specifically targeted for the 807 and 843 engines as used in Renault 16 TX and 16 TS (please check dimensions).


The 123/Renault16-TX-TS-4-R contains curves for carbureted-engines as originally specified by Renault. The end-user can select one of 16 different advance-curves by means of a little switch on the side of the distributor-body.

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123-ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.
