The 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R (with an upright cap) is a distributor, specifically targeted for tthe 670-01, 670-02 and 670-05 engines without vacuum adavance as used in Renault Dauphine (please check dimensions).
The 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R contains all the curves for carbureted-engines as originally specified by Renault. The end-user can select one of 15 different advance-curves by means of a little switch in the bottom-face of the distributor-body.

The 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R offers:

This unit comes without vacuum advance. When you do need this, you can choose this version with vacuum, the 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R-V.
If you want to tune your engine, we've got great news for you: in short time this product will also be available in a 123/TUNE version!
Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123-ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.
Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the Bosch Blue Coil.
