The 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R-V is a distributor, specifically targeted for tthe 670-01, 670-02 and 670-05 engines as used in Renault Dauphine (please check dimensions).
The 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R-V contains all the curves for carbureted-engines as originally specified by Renault. The end-user can select one of 15 different advance-curves by means of a little switch in the bottom-face of the distributor-body.

This unit comes with vacuum advance. When you don't need this, you can save yourself some money and choose the version without vacuum, the 123/Renault-Dauphine-4-R.

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123-ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.
Coil and spark plugs
Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.

This product is well thought out and made. It made a significant improvement to my car's drivability. I plan on putting an equivalent unit in my MG TD.
