The 123/JAG-6-R-V-IE is designed to improve the performance of the Jaguar 3.4, 3.8 and 4.2 litre, 6 cylinder XK-engines. These engines require more degrees advance.

The "V-IE" model replaces distributors with a Bosch D-jetronic injection system (a D-jetronic has 2 extra contact points for controlling the injection). (please compare dimensions before ordering)

When the maximum specified degrees advance (see last page of the installation manual) is more than you need, our advise is to order the 123-GB-6-R-V.
The unit offers 16 different advance-curves, which can be selected by means of a little switch. This is a great feature for easy fine-tuning your engine!

It also offers:
- Vacuum-advance
- Automatic dwell
- Automatic power-cut after 1 second
- Gear shift retard

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information about static timing and the advance-curves (often found on the last page), the specifications of the 123ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Note: Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend our 123 Red Coil.
