The 123/B18-B20-R is designed for the Volvo B18 and B20 engines, not only for classic cars as the Amazone, P1800 etc. but specific for boat engines.
It has advance-curves for B18-A (VALP), B18-B, B20-A, B20-B, B20-D, B20-E, B20-F, B18-Penta & B20-Penta engines.

Features of the 123/B18-B20-R electronic ignition

The unit offers optimized LPG / Ethanol-curves for B20-A en B20-E engines. With a switch you can easily choose the advance-curve that is specified for your specific engine. The unit offers a built-in LED for easy static timing and several different advance-curves. This is a great feature for easy fine-tuning your engine!

It also offers:
- Automatic dwell
- Automatic power-cut after 1 second
- Gear shift retard

Please note the following about the 123/B18-B20-R 123ignition

For electronic fuel injection-systems (where the engine needs a trigger pulse from the ignition) a 123/B18-B20-R-V-IE is available.

Please read the installation manual carefully. It contains more information on the motor- and distributor numbers, static timing and the advance-curves, the specifications of the 123ignition and a step-by-step description of the installation procedure.

Coil and spark plugs

Although used coils all look alike, they should be viewed with suspicion since one cannot tell from the outside whether, and how often they were exposed to overheating in the past. Installing the 123ignition system will ensure that the coil will never be overheated again in future. We recommend the 123 Blue Coil.
